Beware of scammers!
Beware of scammers!
Someone sent me a link thru the steam's friends network....
htp://www.steamcomunitty.hd1.com.br/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Then that person says "I need 30 ppl to join my community"
As you can see (if you decide to open the link)... that is not a real steam page but it looks damn similar. The last part shows that URL is from somewhere in Brazil. So yeah, it's a scam to get me to "log in" to "steam"
Please do NOT LOGIN there.
Do not give your account information to anyone. Valve staff will never ask you for your username/password.
Always look for suspicious urls.
Go here to have steam reclaim your account.
Good luck.

Re: Beware of scammers!
Yeah I actually got that from a member of Wraith. It seemed odd and I ignored it. For a few seconds I thought I would click it, but i'm very wary of what I click on the internet.
A good and simple way to help with scammers posting fake links is just simply place your cursor over the link and make sure the link is not something that looks suspicious. People are getting clever and using ways to go around this but it still works sometimes.
Thank you for the heads up Bel
