Keyboard glitch

Sometimes, when I try to use my keyboard, it won't work on me in server. The keyboard is operational, but it doesn't work when, say, I try to buy an ankh. This glitch usually appears when I die every now and again. I think it's the server doing it because of lag, so can you please fix it. Thanks.
