That's your processor compared to mine. You will run CS 1.6 completely fine with that processor.

Re: Gaming PC Suggestions
AMD FX-6300 is a good processor. The gaming desktop looks good. All you need is a BenQ monitor to go with it. Get the BenQ XL2411Z or the Asus VG248QE. You need a 120Hz/144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time gaming monitor for CS if you want the frags mang. The spray for your AK/m4 is super smooth with high refresh rate and response time.

Built my computer for about $300 bucks 2 years ago. It runs cs great, and every other program I use. X4 645 processor and 8g ram. Plus a 10k rpm hd. A lot cheaper if you do it yourself. Easy to put together as well, plenty of youtube videos to explain how.
Re: Gaming PC Suggestions
Option 3 is best. AMD FX-4300, Gigabyte motherboard, 8GB RAM, R9 270x, etc.
This is a high performing budget setup for CS and gaming in general. I see it quite often for competitive CS players on my Steam friends. I don't think you'll be needing a FX-6300 hexacore anytime soon. Of course a high performing PC doesn't mean anything if your monitor is still bottlenecked at the default 60/75Hz. You'll see an improvement but not a major one. The gaming monitor is just as important as the PC.
There are several issues however with Option 3 I've noticed:
1) No SSD
2) 2 graphics cards? really? lol overkill but it should do the job.
3) Microsoft Windows 8.1 is garbage. Everything is perfect except this. For this reason alone, if I couldn't get Option 3 in Windows 7, I would get Option 1.
My recommendation: If you are okay with Windows 8.1, go with Option 3. If not, go with Option 1. Option 1 is solid, can't go wrong with it although the hardware for 3 is better.
Option 2 is bad. The old Haswell editions of the Intel Core i5's tend to run a bit hot and overheat. This is the conclusion I have come to when decidng the CPU for my PC. My gaming rig runs a Core i5-4690K, but it's the Devil's Canyon version, i.e. the revised Haswell 4th gen with all the heating issues solved.
This is my setup:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K @ 3.50GHz
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A
Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2x4GB)
Storage: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770
Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D
Power Supply: Seasonic X-750
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z
Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K65
Mouse: Razer Abyssus
Mousepad: SteelSeries QcK
Headset: SteelSeries Siberia v2
If you have the money and time to build your own PC, this might be a good AMD FX-4300 budget build:
